Above all of the activities of the church may we be reminded of what really matters. What is to be the focus of our work? The proclamation of the Good News. In order to do that effectively let us first be a people who love God and love to worship Him which we demonstrate by faithful attendance in His house and giving. Thomas (also called Didymus) missed a great blessing by not being with the other disciples on that first Lord's Day. Secondly, let us be a people who love others which we demonstrate in service and outreach. And let us be a people who are passionately evangelistic; a people who, "cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard." Acts 4:20. Looking forward to seeing you next Sunday.
