HIGH SEAS EXPEDITION: VBS this year is June 21-25 from 9:00 – 12:00! Please check out the church web site or pick up a form in the commons area and pre-register your children! The Children’s Ministry Team is really looking forward to bringing this program to the children and we still need your help. There is a poster with volunteer opportunities in the Commons area or you can see Kelley McLean or Sylvia Hobgood to “get on board”!
3 TIMES THIS YEAR: That’s how many times you would get to go in to Children’s Church if you said YES to volunteer for the rest of this year. See Kelley McLean to be put in to the rotation and you’ll only have to miss Pastor Jay’s sermon 3 times this year for the worthy cause of serving and teaching the kids! SUMMER ACTIVITIES: We know you have vacation plans and great things to do. But, we don’t want to stop getting together this summer! The Cambridge Kid’s Calendar is full of fun this summer! In July we are going to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we serve the CARITAS kids and host activity night on Sunday, July 25th. We are going to have fun with water, weather permitting. In August we are going to fellowship and enjoy a free movie at Regal, content permitting. And in September we are going to continue our theme of “What Did Jesus Do” when we Explore Yom Kippur. More information and dates to follow!
TeamKID BANQUET: Do you like kids? Do you like food? Do you like music? Then come and enjoy all three on Wednesday, June 2nd at 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. The TeamKID Banquet and Family Night Dinner Finale is always a wonderful combination of food, fellowship, and service as the TeamKID members assist with and serve the meal. This is your personal invitation to bring your family and enjoy an evening with the members of this thriving, energetic ministry as they close out another successful year of learning about Christ and having a heart for missions.
